About Us

Action 54, abbreviated as A54 is a Nonpolitical, Non-Religious, Non Profit and Non-Governmental National Organization founded in September, 2021 by a group of Young South Sudanese nationals with diverse expertise including Political (social) scientists, educationalist, Activists, legal personnel, journalists and IT professionals.

Action 54 is legally registered by the South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) on September 20, 2021, as a national non-governmental organization in accordance with the Non-Governmental Organizations Act (2016) with the registration number 3,849.

Objectives 
  • To promote human rights through monitoring, documenting, reporting, advocacy and civic education,
  • To promote culture of peace through peace initiatives,
  • To build the capacity of both state and non-state institutions on Human Rights, good Governance, transparency, digital security and Democracy,
  • To promote citizenry including women, youth and persons with disability participation in Political issues affecting them,
  • To empower institutions and foster the participation of young women and men in building a peaceful, democratic and inclusive society, and
  • To enhance coalition building and networking on issues of societal concern.
